Ceremony Shots

2x cams / 24 fps / Record external audio

Keep your B cam off to the side, not right in the middle aisle.

Stay behind the parents except for during the processional.

Don’t stop recording during the ceremony, unless batteries need to be changed.

Hanging floral arrangement with sunlight filtering through, inside a greenhouse or building.

Details:

Candles, chairs, solar flares, flowers, brochures, capture the space. Good foreground is key.

Guests:

After my Bcam is in place and sound is running, I’ll walk up and down the aisle capturing candids of people entering and hugging. After I get my candids, I’ll wave at people and point at my camera.

Processional:

Standing at the top of the aisle will allow you to capture the all of the processional as well as the groom’s reaction to the bride.

Center aisle:

Be in center aisle for the majority of the ceremony. If the photographer asks you to move, so they can get a wide shot, that’s fine because you have a BCAM rolling.

Guest Hugs:

After the ceremony, while the photographers are shooting family photos, get shots of guests hugging/laughing.

Walking out:

In addition to getting shots of the couple, get close ups of guests/bridal party having fun.
